Nurturing Parents is the component of our Pre Kindergarten (Pre K) program that provides parents/caregivers with information about child development along with strategies and techniques they can use themselves to promote school readiness with their children at home.

Nurturing Parents provides a library of fun take-home activities with instructions to help parents/caregivers learn effective ways of educating children and assessing their progress. We also offer monthly workshops on preparing children for kindergarten and produce a monthly newsletter for Pre K families. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to take advantage of our other parent support programs, information and referral services, and our marriage/ family/ individual counseling.
