Child/Parent Drop-In (CPDI): A cornerstone program at both Family Connections sites, CPDI is a rich learning experience for infants and toddlers and their parents/caregivers. Young children gain social, emotional, and cognitive skills, while parents/caregivers — who are required to remain on site with the children — expand their ability to nurture safe families and raise healthy, successful children. During CPDI, parents/caregivers join in a variety of child development activities and receive training, support, mentoring and counseling as needed.
CPDI is supervised by our licensed Family Therapist, operating with a total of 11 bilingual/bicultural childcare staff and consulting professionals.
CPDI serves 32 children and 32 adults daily with a total of 256 unduplicated children and caregivers annually.
